Strings & Brushes Creative Space – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Strings & Brushes Creative Space (“SBCS”). By booking or using our event space, or by accessing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Strings & Brushes Creative Space website and the booking and use of our event space. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or facilities.

2. Definitions

• “We,” “us,” “our” refer to Strings & Brushes Creative Space (SBCS).
• “You,” “your” refer to the user or individual booking or using our space.
• “Event” refers to any scheduled use of the SBCS facilities.

3. Use of Website

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our website. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3.2 User Conduct

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon or restrict others’ use or enjoyment of the site.

3.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the website to:

• Engage in any unlawful activity.
• Solicit others to engage in unlawful acts.
• Violate any federal, state, local, or international laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon our intellectual property or that of others.
• Harass, defame, discriminate, or otherwise harm others.
• Submit false or misleading information.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code.

4. Booking and Use of Space

4.1 Booking Policy

• All bookings must be made through our website or directly with our booking team.
• SBCS will not be rented to anyone under the age of 25 without prior written approval from the SBCS team.

4.2 Rental Fees

• The rental fee is $190 per 4-hour period with a 4-hour minimum - 8 am - Noon, 1 pm - 5 pm and 6 pm - 10 pm.  
• A $40 site/cleaning fee applies to each event and is included in this fee.
• 8-Hour rental is $290
• 10-Hour (Full Day rental) is $390
• Additional charges for usage of 6' tables and chairs listed at $10 and $5 each respectively.
• All fees are due in full at the time of booking and paid via Venmo or check.
• Payments are fully refundable up to 15 days prior to the event date.
• No refunds will be issued within 15 days of the event due to loss of potential bookings.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 15 days before the event to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued within 15 days of the event. Refunds will be made within 15 days of the booking date canceled.

4.4 Use of Space – Rules

All users must follow these guidelines:

• No smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances.
• Alcohol is prohibited unless cleared by owners.
• Treat all SBCS property with respect.
• Follow all safety instructions provided by SBCS staff.
• Nothing can be nailed in the wall or ceiling without the owners permission.
• Leave the space in the same condition in which it was found.

5. Liability

5.1 Limitation of Liability

Strings & Brushes Creative Space is not liable for:

• Your inability to use the website.
• Unauthorized access to personal information stored on our servers.
• Interruptions or technical issues affecting website access.
• Malicious code transmitted by third parties.
• Errors, omissions, or losses arising from use of website content.

5.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strings & Brushes Creative Space, TN Tuscan Group, Rachael McCampbell, Curtis Stewart, the 208 East Public Square building, and all affiliates, officers, agents, contractors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content—including text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of Strings & Brushes Creative Space or its content providers and is protected by copyright laws.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use of the website or facilities constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Strings & Brushes Creative Space operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
